Training the next generation of equitable leaders

Turn Your Campus Into a Living Lab for Equitable Development
What if your students could graduate with a degree and a professional credential, plus the experience of certifying a building on your campus?
SEAM Studio makes that possible. In just one semester or academic year, students complete SEAM AP training, earn their credential, and guide a campus facility through the SEAM Certification process — with mentorship every step of the way.
Why SEAM Studio?
-
Lead by example: Embed equity into your campus by certifying a selected building under the SEAM Standard.
-
Elevate student outcomes: Equip graduates with a credential and real-world project experience.
-
Differentiate your institution: Demonstrate leadership in equitable real estate education.
-
Lower barriers: Take advantage of discounted SEAM Certification fees for campus projects.
How it works

1
Select a Campus Facility
Your university identifies a building on campus to participate in the program, where equity is embedded. This facility serves as the foundation for the SEAM Studio experience, where students anchor their training by applying the Standard to a real-world project.
2
Students Train + Lead
Enrolled students complete SEAM AP training and exam prep, supported by faculty advisors and SEAM professionals. They take the lead in guiding the building through the SEAM Certification process, gaining hands-on experience with real tools and frameworks.
3
Certified + Credentialed
The chosen facility pursues SEAM Certification with discounted fees for participating schools. At the same time, students earn the SEAM Accredited Professional (AP) credential, leaving with both a transformed campus space and a credential that launches their careers.
Outcomes
By the end of SEAM Studio:
🎓 Students earn a professional career credential, real-world project leadership, and career-ready skills.
🏛️ Universities showcase leadership in equity, transform a facility on campus, and offer an unparalleled academic experience.
